AMUNC International Press Gallery applications now open!

Want to write about international politics, global issues and other topics of importance?

The Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference 2009 is now recruiting members of the first International Press Gallery (IPG) to take place in an AMUNC.

Between July 12 and 17, engaged young people from around the region will converge on the University of Queensland, Brisbane to discuss international politics and global issues as delegates to AMUNC 2009.

A team of 40 reporters, print and online editors, photographers and graphic designers will be responsible for two releases of The Working Paper (TWP), a 32-page news magazine covering and commentating on AMUNC committee topics, debates and extra-curricular activities. News generated from the conference will also be fed through a live AMUNC news website and Twitter account.

To become a member of the IPG, complete the standard AMUNC online application available from http://www.amunc.net/, as well as submitting 250 words explaining your preferred committee and publication of choice and a story or article you have written.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact IPG Director Brooke Wylie via e-mail at pressgallery@amunc.net.
