A "New Media and the Informed Citizen" symposium will be held on 24 July 2009 at South Bank. Entry is free but seats are limited. Sponsored by DFAT and the Australian Malaysia Institute, this event would be of interest to Media, Journalism, Asian Studies, Politics and Law domestic and international (especially Malaysian) students.
