The Walkey Awards, which recently underwent extensive review, will feature three new awards this year: Best Online Journalism, Outstanding Continuous Coverage of an Issue or Event, Best Scoop of the Year.

Iran’s media crackdown
The International Federation of Journalists said this week it is “gravely concerned” by the aggressive measures used by Iranian authorities to suppress the media.
At least 25 journalists arrested since the disputed election remain in prison.
