Dear All,

Further to my previous email regarding the Foreign Correspondent Program. Attached are: a PowerPoint presentation providing some information on the program, a list of instructions on how to apply and a copy of the Program from 2008 to give you an idea of how it is structured. I would be very grateful if you could forward this on to all your students and all those who fit the criteria. Should you have additional questions please do not hesitate to contact the Embassy.

Hello,

Australia has been included in the list of countries for 2009 Foreign Correspondents' Programme of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. It is an annual programme within which young (appr. 20-25 years of age) journalists (who are at the final stage of their media studies or have just finished their studies) from some 20 countries around the world are invited to visit Finland for a month (August) to learn more about Finland with the aim of inspiring them to write articles about Finland later on during their careers etc. We will be promoting FCP among leading Australian tertiary education institutions of media/journalism and leading Australian media in February.

Regards,
Ewa Walczuk
